H101-Salto
Produced at the Glasflugel factory under the direction of Ursula Hanel the original first flew in March 1970. It was developed as a fully aerobatic glider with a V tail and a wingspan of 13.6m.
The model is of glass/carbon construction and incredibly strong!
All parts are finished and ready to plug together. The canopy is fitted for you and airbrakes are included in the kit. It really is a case of just installing the radio, balancing the CG and go fly.
The wings are mounted to the fuz with a big 16mm x 40mm square carbon joiner so no chance of bendy wings here! It’s ready for hard aerobatics!
With full trailing edge flaps and Schempp Hirt style air brakes the model may not be totally scale but does offer excellent all round performance be it slope, thermal, speed or aerobatics.
For real hooligans a carbon D box or full Carbon version is available. I have ballasted this model up with well over a kilo and believe me it moves!
Available in white or yellow and a choice of colours under the wing.
